The picture at left shows Linda and Sammy standing beside a refrigerated tank in the milk house. These tanks keep milk cold and fresh until it’s picked up by the truck from the dairy plant-there it’s inspected, pasteurized and bottled . . . ready for delivery to your doorstep. Everything is kept spic and span to assure a safe, healthful supply of milk. Below is Sammy, just after he came across a young calf in the barn that didn’t look too well. He immediately called Mr. McCandless and Jimmy. |
