Although cows are the main business on a dairy farm, they raise pigs too. The
picture below shows the cows out at pasture. It's no wonder they're so contented,
with the peaceful life they lead. |
 Above, the McCandlesses are teaching Sammy
and me how to test the butterfat in each cow's milk. (The process is too complicated
for me to explain!) At right is a spankin' new calf with its proud mama. |
